Travelwise Walk to School Week 2006
This years Walk to School Week event runs from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th May 2006, all schools in Northern Ireland have been invited to participate.

Over the last 20 years the number of children being driven to school has doubled, the ‘School Walk’ has now been replaced by the ‘School Run’ by car!

Walk to School Week gives pupils, parents and teachers the opportunity to start the process of reversing this trend by taking the healthier option of walking to school.
